First and foremost, thank you for your patience through the transition to a new system setup for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award website. There have been many changes made to the website, which has caused us to develop a new system for students to enter outside service hours.
With the new changes on the PVSA website, we no longer receive an individualized login username and password when we create an account for a new volunteer. Therefore, we have developed a system for students to fill out a form on our website, and we will enter in the hours for them on the account we have setup for them. If students have logged hours on their account (with login info they received from us) their hours are in our system and they will not have to re-enter them. However, we ask that you no longer log hours yourself on your account, but instead use the form we have created.
If you are a new volunteer to Youth Action Hudson, we will need additional information to set up an account for you. We ask that you e-mail Aly at AmeriCorps2@youthactionhudson.org so we can get that information from you.
The new form can be found under the “YAH Programs” tab under the label “Presidential Volunteer Service Award”. Once there, you simply need to enter your name, name of the service activity, organization you completed the service through, the date of service and the duration of the service activity. Once we receive your submission, we will enter it into our database. We will save all submissions for verification purposes.
If you have any questions, please email Aly at AmerCorps2@youthactionhudson.org!
