How you can support the Period Project!
The Period Project was started in 2016, by Sydney Rossini, to support local women and girls who lack access to basic feminine hygiene products such as tampons and pads. YAH youth designed hand sewn bags that were filled with feminine hygiene products (5 tampons, 5 pads) and chocolate. In 2017, YAH youth created 200 Period Project bags compared to last year's 75 and distributed them to Turning Point and Grace Place.
For 2018, YAH youth have already created and distributed 300 Period Project Pouches throughout St. Croix County and various parts of the world through the L. organization!
